Stonehaven & DMC Hairst Rally 1st October 2022
Stonehaven & District Motor Club Ltd (SDMC) will organise a Clubman’s Permit Navigational Rally on
Saturday 1st October 2022, starting at Cullerlie Farm Park , Echt MR 38/746028
The event is open to members of the following clubs as well as those competitors registered to compete in
the Scottish Association of Motor Sport Club’s Navigational Rally Championship.

Stonehaven & DMC Gropers Rally 19th March 2022
Saturday 19th saw SDMC's Gropers Rally go ahead despite several crew withdrawals due to family members developing Covid19. For the first time the event was run using the RallyAppLive system which meant a) we didn't need so many marshals and b) results were available sooner than usual. This may have put some of the more 'traditional' competitors off as there is a fair bit of smart phone technology to get to grips with, as there also was for the organisers!
However when it came to results status quo remained with Charlie Brown/Gordon Reid, last year's winners, keeping the trophy this year! For the first time for many years (if ever) potholes played an unwanted part in the event with several crews falling victim of this and having to change at least one broken wheel! This despite the organisers placing warning signs in advance of the worst of the potholes!
